NSF's Joy Pauschke to speak during 2020 AGU Fall Meeting

 

West Lafayette, IN, Dec. 9, 2020 — Joy Pauschke, Program Director, Division of Civil, Mechanical and Manufacturing Innovation (CMMI), Directorate for Engineering (ENG), National Science Foundation, will make a presentation on NSF funding opportunities in natural hazards engineering research and answer questions. The session takes place Monday, December 14, 2020, during the 2020 AGU Fall Meeting.

At the National Science Foundation, Dr. Joy M. Pauschke is one of three Program Directors for the Engineering for Civil Infrastructure research program, Program Director for the Natural Hazards Engineering Research Infrastructure (NHERI), and a Program Director for the Mid-scale Research Infrastructure-2 program. NHERI is an NSF-supported, major, shared-use network that provides research infrastructure to support research and education in earthquake engineering, wind engineering and related fields.
