2024 Natural Hazards Research Summit

The 2022 Summit in Washington, DC, was a phenomenal community-building event. Based on overwhelming positive feedback, we are planning this second national meeting. The 2024 event is co-hosted by the University of Maryland and NHERI.


WHO should attend?

Researchers studying the impact of natural hazards on the built, natural and human environment are encouraged to attend. Sessions will explore national research needs and opportunities to use NHERI in your research.

WHAT is happening?

Participate in two days of sessions and working groups of broad interest to the natural hazards engineering and social science community.

WHERE is the Summit?

The meeting will convene at the University of Maryland, in College Park, MD.
