Description:

Prediction of surge, wave, and tsunami flow transformation over the built and natural environment is essential in determining survival and failure of near-coast structures during Inundation Events. Hydrodynamic data is difficult to obtain from these major storm events, so smaller scale experiments were conducted at Oregon State University’s O.H. Hinsdale Wave Research Laboratory. Data here are partial results from a series of collaborative, NSF and NIST-funded, experiments between the University of Notre Dame, Oregon State University, the University of Southern California, and the US Naval Academy. Additional results from this series of tests are found as related works. Data may be useful for analysis and prediction of coastal storm wave, tsunami, and debris loads.
