Description:
Participated in a project that explored how the porosity of a soil sample affects the outcome of the soil water retention curve. The data that was used to plot the soil water retention curves was captured from numerical simulations and can provide insight into the effect of porosity, or inversely, density, on the properties of soil. This research area has only recently become popular, and this experiment is a general foundation for future research. Thus, this work could help support researchers of unsaturated soils in works to come.
