Description:

This study presents an experimental database focused on the cyclic response of mine tailings compiled from various sources. The database is organized considering three classes. Class A contains cyclic simple shear (CSS), triaxial (Tx), and cone penetration testing (CPTu) information, Class B has CSS and Tx or CPTu information, and Class C has only CSS information. Most materials belong to Class A. Of note, Class C is comparable with most databases for natural soils; hence, highlighting the uniqueness of our database. This data can give valuable insight into the field and lab scale response of mine tailings to cyclic loading.
