Description:
This CONVERGE Training Module focuses on historic barriers surrounding maternal health in hazards and disasters and the ways that pregnant, postpartum, and lactating people can help build community resilience in these settings, both domestically and internationally. Additionally, it underscores the necessity for systemic change through application of research findings and improved mitigation and recovery strategies and policies to promote maternal empowerment in the emergency management cycle.
