Description:
A series of shake table tests exploring the concept of using of nonlinear/ductile steel fuses to reduce the acceleration demands on non-structural components during earthquakes. The tests took place at the EQUALS laboratory in University of Bristol. The tests involved 14 specimens comprising different masses and tuned fuse geometries subjected to recorded floor motions, resulting in a total of 45 dynamic tests. The resulting dataset is curated, organized, and made available through this repository to support further numerical and computational research on damage-free structures.
