REU 2018

2018 was the second year for the NHERI Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) summer internship program.  The program grew to thirty students working directly with faculty mentors on twenty eight projects among all the NHERI sites.

Students applied from the 2017 holiday season through March 2018 and were selected by the REU program operators within the Education and Community Outreach (ECO) office based upon availability, experience, and a variety of other factors.

Selected students were split into two groups based upon the NHERI facilities project schedules.  Each block of students participated in a 10-week research program directly on-site at a NHERI facility alongside research staff and faculty.
