Center for Geotechnical Modeling EF Connects with Facebook

Creating a Facebook group for your experimental facility is a simple and valuable way to generate interest in your research and increase engagement with the team, all ages of students, fellow researchers and the public at large.
A great example social media engagement at work is the Center for Geotechnical Modeling at UC Davis. On the CGM Facebook group, site PI Dan Wilson recently posted a year-end research roundup, highlighting efforts by multiple individuals.
From the posts and the photos on the CGM page, visitors get a tangible sense of accomplishment and camaraderie. It looks like an interesting and enjoyable place to work!
