Travel Award

The travel award application is now closed. We are happy to announce that travel awards have been provided to 50 early career and graduate student researchers from 41 institutions of higher education in 25 states. If you missed the deadline to apply, we still hope to see you at the Summit and encourage to you to seek alternate funding to attend.

Early-career faculty, graduate students, and post-doctoral professionals seeking involvement in the natural hazards engineering research community were invited to apply for an NSF Travel Award.  The NSF Travel Award will reimburse selected awardees for conference fees, travel, accommodations and food, up to $1300.  NSF travel funds are limited to US citizens and permanent residents.

Awardees were selected to increase interest in multi-disciplinary research and collaboration, as well as to promote participation from under-represented minorities, women, and veterans.
